Sunday, January 7th 12: A Happy New Year to you all. Tomorrow our working time is starting. Today was our last day of vacation. Last week we went to the Northern Black Forest, for sliding - since there is no snow around our living place.
Friday, 11-11-11: Nice date ;o)
Last week we were on vacation in the region called "Black forest". We stayed at a farm with cows, pigs, chicken and rabbits. The weather was beautiful and so was our vacation. Here are the pictures:
Saturday, October 23rd 11: Charlotte painted her first sun. Today we handicrafted. Charlotte created a festoon. It is a really beautiful fall dekoration.

Thursday, August 11th 11: On Pentecost we met my family in Benneckenstein, the village my grandfather used to live before he died. We had nice bbq and went to a little festival there. Here are the pictures.
Tuesday, August 2nd 11: In June we went to the Alps for a week. It was a nice vacation for the kids and for the parents too. Throwing stones into a river probably was the most relaxed moment for us all. The kids loved doing it and we, the parents could relax for some minutes. We also went to the "castle of Neuschwanstein". It is probably the best known castle in and of Germany. It really is a fairy tale castle. Charlotte wanted to see the princess who must be living in it, but unfortunately was was none.
Monday, May 23rd 11: First of all - Brooke Happy belated Birthday. I've been thinking of you but didn't make to write you.
Some time has passed since I last posted here. But I am fine. I've been to the Alps this past weekend so I can only be fine. The kids are doing fine and so does Roetger - as far as I know.

Sonntag, 13. Februar 11: Heute musste ich mal wieder der Natur für meine 2 Beine danken ;o)
Samstag, 12. Februar 11: Also eins muss ich sagen - das Alter so um die 1,5 Jahre ist doch ein wirklich schönes und unbedingt zu genießen. Moritz kann schon viele Sachen allein, lernt jeden Tag neue Wörter und Charlotte und er können schon richtig gut miteinander spielen - zumindest zeitweise.
Am Donnerstag haben Charlotte und Moritz nachmittags Schokolade bekommen. Charlotte meinte danach, sie müssten jetzt Zähne putzen und ist mit Moritz hoch gegangen ins Bad. Dann habe ich eine ganze Weile nicht gehört von den beiden und bin dann still und leise nach oben gegangen um zu schauen was sie machen. Das Bild war göttlich. Beide saßen mit Zahnbürste im Mund im Kinderzimmer und haben zusammen mit einer Steckeisenbahn gespielt.
Gestern hat Moritz das erste Mal "Lotte" gesagt und sich selber beim Namen genannt. Er nennt sich "Mootze"! Das ist wirklich mega süß.
Heute sind wieder beide nach oben abgedampft. Es war friedlich oben und ich bin nach einer Weile hintergegangen um zu schauen was sie machen. Ich hab sie dann ganz oben im Dachgeschoss gehört, wie sie dort im Zelt gespielt werden. Also bin ich wieder nach unten um sie nicht zu stören. Irgendwann hat man gar nichts mehr gehört- Das war mir dann doch ein bissel komisch und ich bin wieder hoch. Sie waren dann nicht mehr im Zelt sondern im Büro, hatten 2 Scheren und mein Briefpapier aus dem Schrank geholt und schneiden geübt ... Hmmm. Hätte ja auch schlimmer kommen können - mit Edding den Holzfußboden anmalen oder so.
Am Donnerstag waren wir endlich mal wieder im Schlosspark. Ich hatte für beide ein Spielzeug mit, dass man ziehen kann und es war perfekt. Beide fanden das super und sind super gelaufen. Alle die uns sahen, fanden es auch super und schmunzelten. Dann haben wir noch unsere Gartennachbarn getroffen und sind mit ihnen zusammen Richtung nach Hause gelaufen. Das war toll. Wir haben mit Charlotte Fußball gespielt und hatten richtig viel Spaß.

And also we went on a short trip to the Alps. The weather wasn't too good, but to see the mountains was so good for us. Charlotte likes them too. She also likes to hike, but she thinks that hiking means to sit in a back pack on daddys back, he hikes and she can look around. We need to change that.
Wednesday, July 21st 10: It's been a long time since I last posted here. But we are fine. Roetger is at home for the next 2 months. 4 weeks we are at home together and when Moritz turned 1 I will go back to work and Roetger stays at home for another 4 weeks.
Our kids have passed some diseases. Moritz hurt one of his fingers really bad. I had to go to the hospital every day. Now the nail fell of and the finger is getting better. Then Charlotte got a high fever which wouldn't come down. So I went to the hospital with her. They know us by name already. They even remembered Moritz' broken leg because of our seldom surname. Great! Now Charlotte is fine again but Moritz' has gotten the fever now. Oh - how is that supposed to work when I am back at work???
Yesterday was our anniversary day and we went to the hotel where we married. The kids have been really great and we had a really nice day.

Wednesday, May 12th 10: Charlotte turned 2 today. We woke her up with 2 candles and a birthday song. She liked it a lot. Then we went to the living room in sleeping bag and sleeping clothes to open her presents.

Monday, August 17th 09: Our little son was born on August 15th. 6 weeks too early he surprised us on our vacation trip to the Netherlands.
Thursday, July 30th 09: Since Charlotte will go to the kindergarden in September, she is trying to eat on her own. What a good thing that it is warm outside. We put her in the garden and let her try.
Sunday, July 19th 09: Today was a day. Charlotte and me went to the park and she walked around very happy ... until she fell and stopped with her face in the ground. She looks really bad.
But before that she was playing in our tunnel with her dad and I took a really nice picture.

Monday, May 11th 09: Yesterday was Mother's Day. Roetger and Charlotte went out to our wedding hotel with me. It was just great again. Charlotte slept very fine so we had our 5-course-meal - just the two of us.
Thursday, May 7th 09: Soon I will start working again. It's very hard to believe that I won't see Charlotte the whole day anymore. Roetger will stay at home for the next 2 months and he is very excited about it. I miss Charlotte already and I have to fight my tears everytime she is so cute (and she is cute most of the time).
I'm looking forword to go to work but I can't imagine at all not to see her so much anymore.
Tuesday, April 7th 09: It's been a while since I last wrote something. To make it official now - I am pregnant and due in September. That wasn't really planned but we obviosly had had a nice winter vacation. But that's how life goes I guess, you can't plan everything. Well those were our biggest small news I'd say.
This weekend Charlotte was pretty sick. She had fever and diarrhea pretty bad. Those things always happen on weekends? Why is that? Now she is getting better but I am very weak, I could hardly carry her up the stairs.
But the weather here has been so nice the last days. The cherry blossom in our castlegarden is really worth to be seen.

In February we went on vacation with my parents to the "Harz" a german range. After that Charlotte and me visited Magdeburg, because my grandpa had to go to the hospital. Charlotte really liked it in Magdeburg. She learned a lot of new things. That was really amazing.
Ach - Freitag der 13. Das war vielleicht was. Ich hatte Rötger Fußballkarten geschenkt für das Spiel Hoffenheim gegen Bayer Leverkusen - für den 14. Februar wohlgemerkt! Wir als alte Fußballprofis wussten natürlich nicht, dass sich so ein Spieltag ändern kann - auf den 13. Februar!!! Wenn Ronny uns nicht angerufen hätte, hätten wir gnadenlos das Spiel verpasst. Aber es ging gerade noch alles gut. Rötger hat Charlotte bei uns abgeholt und wir konnten noch zum Spiel fahren. Wir waren pünktlich dort und hatten ziemlich gute Plätze. Leider hat Hoffenheim ziemlich abgeloost. 1:4 verloren. Wahnsinn. Da Charlotte ja außerhalb übernachtet hat, sind wir noch was essen gegangen.

Sunday, January 4th 09: A happy new year to all of you. I hope you had a good New Years Eve.
For Christmas we stayed at my parents house. Charlotte really did like to stay with her great grandparents, grandparents, uncle, aunt and cousin.
One day my mom, Charlotte and me went swimming in a salt-water bath. And Charlotte liked it soooo much. Hard to believe after she hated water for some time. But it was so wunderful to swim with her. I was so happy afterwards.
Christmas was also very nice. I love to stay with my family for christmas. We got a lot of presents and so did Charlotte. She got sunglasses for our winter vacation, lots of clothes, a doll's pram but for learning how to walk, a rubber duck and lots of more things.
For new years eve we went skiing with Roetgers parents. I took some skiing lessons and I like it a lot more than snowboarding. I had a lot of fun skiing and wasn't frustrated at all. Charlotte stayed with her grandparents (Roetger's parents) and she liked it a lot.

Friday, May 2nd 08: Now the month has begun, in which we become parents. It really is hard to believe. In about 3 weeks we will be parents for the rest of our lives.

Wednesday, March 19th 08: We are back from London, Magdeburg, France and Duesseldorf. We had so much dates, that we had to split up.
London was great. We stayed at a friends apartment, it was really nice. London is a pretty cool city, I liked it a lot. The weather was very bad though, but the city still was quite amazing.
